# The data licence agreement must be accepted

`licence-acceptance-required` is returned with HTTP status 403. Its type URI is `https://emailmovers.com/mydatahub/docs/errors/licence-acceptance-required`.

## What it means

A person approved the spend, but an order or an enrichment needs the Data Licence and Sharing Agreement accepted at the version in force, and it was not, or an earlier version was. In production it also answers while the agreement is not published yet. Nothing was charged.

The problem carries approval_url, where a person approves the spend and ticks the box. In the app a person ticks it on the quote; the version is the account's agreements.dlsa.version. An agent key that orders or enriches on its own (create_order or enrich_contact, with a budget and a per-order cap above 0) carries the acceptance made when the key was made or changed: PATCH /v1/api-keys/{id} with licence_accepted_version renews it. Then the same request is sent again.
