> create_search: deprecated; use compile_audience, then count_audience instead.

> **Deprecated.** `create_search` stays available for 12 months from the v2 launch, with 3 emailed notices, then it stops working. Use [`compile_audience`](https://emailmovers.com/mydatahub/docs/reference/mcp/compile_audience.md), then [`count_audience`](https://emailmovers.com/mydatahub/docs/reference/mcp/count_audience.md) instead.

Deprecated: adds filters to a count held in the server session. Use compile_audience, then count_audience instead. count_audience takes the whole audience definition in one call, so there is no session state to build up, and compile_audience turns a brief into that definition. It stops working 12 months after the new tools launch, after three emailed notices; https://emailmovers.com/mydatahub/docs/migrate maps every call. Lawful basis is UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f) legitimate interests; email audiences include corporate subscribers only by default (PECR), so sole traders and ordinary partnerships are left out unless the toggle is changed.
