> **Deprecated.** `search_discrete_values` stays available for 12 months from the v2 launch, with 3 emailed notices, then it stops working. Use [`search_filter_values`](https://emailmovers.com/mydatahub/docs/reference/mcp/search_filter_values.md) instead.

Deprecated: searches the values of one filter category. Use search_filter_values instead. It returns codes with counts and did_you_mean for near misses. It stops working 12 months after the new tools launch, after three emailed notices; https://emailmovers.com/mydatahub/docs/migrate maps every call. Lawful basis is UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f) legitimate interests; email audiences include corporate subscribers only by default (PECR), so sole traders and ordinary partnerships are left out unless the toggle is changed.
