Buy B2B data in the UK without a sales call
See the count, the price and a masked sample before you pay. 25p a record with no minimum order, or £1,249 once for 40,000 credits, ex VAT, with a 12-month licence.
You can buy UK B2B data online without speaking to anyone. Run a free count, read the GBP price per record, check a masked sample, accept a quote and pay by card or invoice link.
On MyDataHub by Emailmovers one credit buys one complete record: 25p a record up to 9,999 records, 22p from 10,000, 19.5p from 25,000 and 17p from 50,000, with no minimum order, or £1,249 once for a credit pack of 40,000 credits (3.1p a credit), and a quote leads with the cheapest purchase. Prices are ex VAT. Failed lookups, duplicates, suppressed records and records you already hold cost nothing. If you want a person, a bespoke service with an account manager is there too.

What do you buy when you buy B2B data?
You buy a licence to use records, not the records themselves. Every self-serve delivery is a 12-month multi-use licence covering email, telephone and post.
A record is one named person at one company. It holds a name, a job title, a work email, a telephone number where held, a postal address and company fields such as the Companies House number and SIC code. One credit buys one complete record, and every field set costs the same.
Standard terms prohibit resale. If you want to own records outright, with no expiry, the proposed price is 1.8 credits a record. That option is not yet on sale.
How do you buy B2B data without a sales call?
The whole path is self-serve, and each step shows its price. The app is built for a first count in under 60 seconds and a first order in under five minutes, which are targets we measure.
- Count. Describe who you want. The count, the companies behind it and a masked sample appear without an account.
- Sign in. Use a magic link or a passkey. There is no password and no CAPTCHA. Sign up with a work email address and your company gets 100 free credits once, with no card. Already a MyDataHub customer? Keep signing in at app.mydatahub.uk until we move your account.
- Check what is new to you. Connect HubSpot or Salesforce read-only if you want records you already hold removed. Matched records are never charged.
- Choose a field set and a licence. Every field set costs 1 credit a record.
- Read the quote. It lists contacts, suppressed records, credits needed, your balance, VAT, the total, the warranty and the licence.
- Pay. Use a card through Stripe Checkout, or request an invoice link.
- Receive the file. The order moves from Queued to Building, Verifying and Ready, and you download, send to a sheet or push to a CRM.
What does a quote show?
A machine quote is a signed price for one audience, one field set and one licence. It is valid for 24 hours and is bound to the dataset version it was counted on, so the number cannot drift while you decide.
| Line | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Records | How many records remain after removing duplicates, suppressed records and records you already hold |
| Credits required | Records times credits per record, which is 1 for every field set |
| Balance | Your credits now, and the top-up needed if the order is larger |
| Price ex VAT | The credits at your plan's rate, with VAT as its own line |
| Licence | The licence type, the date it runs to, and that resale is prohibited |
| Warranty | The replacement policy that applies to the order |
| Blockers | Anything that stops the order, spelled out rather than hidden |
Anyone can add the lines up. A human sales quote is a separate object that lasts 14 days, is a PDF and can be paid by card or invoice link by a colleague who has no account.
How much does B2B data cost in the UK?
UK brokers that publish a price charge about 8p to 40p a record, and global tools about $0.18 to $3 for a full record (read 26 September 2026). Brokers quote a price per record, and a list is the records you need times that price.
On MyDataHub there is no minimum order. Records cost 25p each, falling to 17p from 50,000, or 3.1p a credit with the £1,249 credit pack of 40,000 credits. Counting and sampling are free, so you know the credits you need before you commit.
| Records in one purchase | Per record | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Under 3,000, no minimum order | 25p | Current |
| 3,000 to 9,999 | 25p | Current |
| 10,000 to 24,999 | 22p | Current |
| 25,000 to 49,999 | 19.5p | Current |
| 50,000 and over | 17p | Current |
The size of a purchase picks one band, and every record in it is at that band's rate. From 4,997 records the credit pack below costs less, so a quote leads with it.
| Plan | Price ex VAT | Credits | Per credit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Credit pack 40,000 Everyone, bought once | £1,249 once | 40,000 | 3.1p |
| Subscription New customers, 12-month contract | £500 a month | 2,000 a month | 25p |
Per credit is the price divided by the credits when every credit is used.
A credit pack is £1,249 once, and its credits never expire. The pricing page has the full price table.
How does the price compare with other suppliers?
UK brokers mostly quote on request, and the published prices vary widely. The figures below were read from each supplier's own pages on 26 September 2026.
| Supplier | Published price | Per record |
|---|---|---|
| MyDataHub | 25p a record, falling to 17p from 50,000; £1,249 for a credit pack of 40,000 credits | 25p to 17p, or 3.1p a credit with the credit pack |
| Buy UK Data | From 8p per contact; worked examples 16p to 30p | 8p to 30p |
| Data HQ | £180 to £380 per 1,000 | 18p to 38p |
| RD Marketing | £295 to £170 per 1,000 by volume | 29.5p to 17p |
| Marketscan | £2,000 for 5,000 contacts | 40p |
| Databroker, Prospect360, B2B Data UK | Quote only | Not published |
Global tools charge in dollars and by the seat. A full record with a phone number costs about $0.18 at Apollo, about $0.56 at Lusha and about $3 at ZoomInfo (an estimate), and Cognism does not publish a price.
| Vendor | Per full record | Credit rules |
|---|---|---|
| Apollo | About $0.18 per full record (email 1 credit, phone 8) | Add-on credits expire at period end; export credits separate from reveal credits |
| ZoomInfo | About $3 per record (estimate) | Use it or lose it each year; each record licensed for 365 days |
| Lusha | About $0.56 per full record (phone 5 credits) | Monthly plans roll over up to 2x; annual credits reset at cycle end |
| Cognism | 1 credit per revealed contact, phone included; price hidden | Extra credits any time; no charge to view a contact again |
We grade price transparency in three levels. Published means per-record or per-1,000 rates are on the site, partial means only a starting or package price is shown, and none means quote or demo only. The provider comparison grades 15 UK suppliers this way.
What do you pay for, and what is free?
Looking is free. You pay only when a record is delivered, and you never pay twice for the same thing.
| Action | Credits | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Count, breakdown, masked sample, machine quote, filter catalogue, title expansion | 0 | Current |
| Full UK contact record delivered, any channel or field set | 1 | Current |
| Company-only record (no named contact) | 0.1 | Proposed |
| Contact enrichment (enrich_contact), match found | 1 (0 if already licensed) | Current |
| Company lookup (lookup_company), no contact details | 0 | To be confirmed |
| Failed lookup, duplicate, suppressed record, record you already hold (the pre-order overlap check) | 0 | Current |
| Re-download of a record under licence, verification re-check | 0 | Current |
| Outright ownership | 1.8 per record | Proposed |
How do you avoid paying for people you already hold?
Two checks keep your spend down. A pre-order overlap check compares your CRM with the audience using read-only access, email-only reads and salted SHA-256 matching in memory. Nothing is kept after the order, nothing is added to the Emailmovers database, and matched records are never charged.
Suppression lists do the same for people you must not contact. Upload a file of emails, domains, phones or company numbers and we store only hashes. Emails and domains are trimmed, lowercased and hashed with SHA-256, phone numbers are E.164 digits, and company numbers are eight-character zero-padded strings, so a file built for an ad platform works unchanged. Every count shows how many records each list removed.
Which field set and channels should you choose?
A field set is the named bundle of columns delivered with an order. The common ones are Standard, Standard plus telephone and Full, and every one costs 1 credit a record, so you choose by what you will use, not by price.
The licence covers email, telephone and post. For email, individual subscribers such as sole traders and ordinary partnerships are excluded by default. For telephone, numbers a screen found TPS or CTPS registered are excluded by default, and each number carries its status: not screened, or the date it was screened.
Every telephone number is screened against the TPS and CTPS each night through a licensed screening service, and carries its status and the date of that screen, valid for 28 days. Screen the numbers you are supplied yourself before calling, and again every 28 days.
Which costs and traps should you watch for?
Buyers' complaints about data vendors cluster around billing and renewal, not features. Check each of these before you sign anything, with any supplier.
- Seats. Apollo, ZoomInfo and Lusha charge per user. MyDataHub has no seats and unlimited users and API keys.
- Surcharges. Apollo charges 8 credits for a telephone number and Lusha 5. Here a phone number is part of the 1-credit record.
- Expiry. ZoomInfo's annual credits are use it or lose it, and Lusha credits are reported lost on cancellation. Credit pack credits here never expire.
- Notice windows. ZoomInfo asks for 60 days, and Apollo for 30 days written notice. Here a credit pack has nothing to cancel, and the subscription needs 30 days written notice before its 12 months end.
- Renewal uplifts. Reported uplifts run from 5 to 20 percent a year. Here we email the subscription's renewal price at least 60 days before the end, so you can give notice in time.
What can you check before you pay?
You can check four things without an account: the count, the breakdowns, a masked sample and a machine quote. None costs a credit.
The sample shows 10 masked rows in the app and up to 25 by API. An email appears as its first character plus the top-level domain, a telephone number as its area code, and no sample appears when the count is under 25.
Each row opens a "why it matches" panel that lists the filters it satisfies, with the actual value. It also opens a provenance card with the source, the first seen and last verified dates and the verification method. The card adds the Companies House number and status, the Article 14 notice status, the TPS and CTPS label and the lawful basis.
What does "why it matches" look like?
Each sample row lists the filters it satisfies with the actual value, for example: Marketing Director matched "marketing manager" through expansion, and employees 120 sit inside 50 or more. Nothing is matched silently, so you can see whether a filter is finding the right people.
What does the ICO expect you to ask a supplier?
The ICO's guidance for organisations that buy from data brokers says accepting a broker's assurances is not enough. We have grouped what it expects into seven due diligence areas, in our own words, and each has a field on a MyDataHub record, so you can answer from the data itself.
| Due diligence area | Where MyDataHub answers it | ICO source |
|---|---|---|
| Who compiled the data? | Contact records are Emailmovers research, and we have owned them since 2003. Every record names its source. | ICO guidance |
| Where was it obtained from? | The source of each field is on the record, and Companies House data carries its Open Government Licence attribution. | ICO guidance |
| What privacy information was used? | Each record shows its Article 14 notice status, the notice date and the notice version. | ICO guidance |
| When was it compiled, and how old is it? | Compiled and last verified dates, the record age in days and the dataset version are on every record. | ICO guidance |
| How was it collected? | The method (telephone or web) and the email verification provider and location are recorded. | ICO guidance |
| What consent records exist? | None are claimed. The lawful basis is legitimate interests, and each record states its email marketing basis. | ICO guidance |
| Was it screened against opt-out and suppression lists? | A TPS and CTPS label on every number (not screened, or screened on a date and valid for 28 days), suppression status, and a count of suppressed records removed in every count and receipt. | ICO guidance |
Read the ICO's guidance for its own wording, and our trust page for how we handle each area.
What licence do you get?
The licence is a 12-month multi-use licence, and it is a field on every quote, order and receipt. You can push records to a CRM, download them again or refresh them free until the licence ends.
When it ends, the records stay in your systems, your CRM flags them, and refreshes stop. Re-ordering the same record costs 1 credit.
At checkout you accept two contracts by click: a controller-to-controller Data Licence and Sharing Agreement, and an Article 28 data processing agreement for suppression uploads and CRM sync.
Can you resell or embed the data?
Not on standard terms. The licence prohibits resale of the raw data and embedding it in another product, and the resale_prohibited field on every quote says so. If you need to redistribute data, a reseller agreement is the only lawful route, and those terms are negotiated separately.
How is the data delivered and checked?
Every address in an order under 50,000 records is checked at delivery, and failures are replaced before you see the file. You then get a validation report as a PDF and JSON.
- The dataset version the order was built from.
- The status distribution and the age of each verification.
- The expected bounce band and the TPS and CTPS labels of the numbers.
- The locations of the verification providers and the guarantee window.
Download links are signed, single use and bound to your account. They last 15 minutes from the app and 5 minutes from the API, and we never email them.
What paperwork do you get?
Every order issues a signed compliance receipt as a PDF and as a token you can verify without an account. It records the order, the dataset version, the records delivered, the suppressions removed, the counts by subscriber class, TPS and CTPS status and Article 14 status, the lawful basis and the licence.
The order also carries a buyer kit. It holds a draft legitimate interests assessment with your purpose, audience, channel and volume filled in, the first-email wording that satisfies Article 14, a paragraph for your Article 30 record and a due diligence file. The file includes the audit trail of who counted, quoted and approved the order, and when.
What if the data is bad?
Today's warranty replaces the affected records when hard bounces exceed 10 percent of an order. You report bounces by uploading a bounce file, or a Deliverite send reports them the same day.
A stricter policy is proposed and is not current: any hard bounce within 30 days replaced or re-credited, with catch-all addresses excluded unless you opt in. Credits and credit packs are not refundable once bought, except where the law requires. Existing customers keep what their signed agreement says until it renews.
How do you report bounces?
Open the order and choose Report bounces, then upload a bounce file. If you sent through Deliverite, the send reports its bounces the same day without a file. Replacements reach your CRM as new records that refer to the retired one, so your records stay traceable.
Can a team, an agency or an agent buy?
Yes. There are no seats, so a team shares one organisation, its audiences and its credits. An agency buys at the same prices as anyone.
Members of an organisation have one of three roles. View members see counts and orders, build members create audiences and suppressions, and order members can spend credits, so you decide who can commit budget.
An AI agent buys the same way as a person: it counts, gets a quote and needs a human to confirm. The agent guide explains the safeguards.
What if you want to talk to a person?
Nothing here needs a call, but you can have one. Bespoke lists add an account manager, a consultative brief, research beyond the database and a hand-validated sample of 10. Managed email campaigns cost £250 per send. Call us on 01723 800030.
If you do sign in, a named account manager sits one click from the count screen, and the first-week checklist points you to them. Asking for help opens a calendar, never a forced call.
Bespoke records are priced on the same per-contact scale as the app, the API and the MCP server, with no minimum order.

Frequently asked questions
Is it legal to buy B2B data in the UK?
Yes. Buying and using B2B data is lawful when you can email or call the people lawfully and you meet UK GDPR. For email, PECR regulation 22 asks for consent only from individual subscribers such as sole traders. The ICO says you cannot rely on a supplier's assurances alone, so keep the evidence. Our guide explains each step.
How accurate is bought B2B data?
Ask for dates. Every address in an order under 50,000 records is also checked at delivery. We publish no accuracy percentage until a measured audit supports it, and today's warranty replaces records when hard bounces exceed 10 percent.
Which industries and job roles can I buy?
Every SIC 2007 section and 13 job levels, with title keywords, 13 employee bands, 17 turnover bands and place filters. The count for each choice is free, so you can test a brief before you buy.
How much does B2B data cost in the UK?
UK brokers that publish a price charge about 8p to 40p a record, and global tools about $0.18 to $3 for a full record (read 26 September 2026). On MyDataHub one credit buys one record: 25p a record up to 9,999 records, 22p from 10,000, 19.5p from 25,000 and 17p from 50,000, with no minimum order, or £1,249 once for a credit pack of 40,000 credits (3.1p a credit), and a quote leads with the cheapest purchase. Counting is free.
How many UK businesses does the data cover?
1,605,275 named contacts at active UK companies, as of 26 September 2026. A count of your own audience shows how many of those match, and the answer is free.
Do I need the contacts' consent to use bought data?
Not to email a corporate subscriber, such as a person at a limited company. You do need a lawful basis under UK GDPR, normally legitimate interests, plus a clear opt-out and the notice wording that says where you got their details. Sole traders and ordinary partnerships need consent for email, and calls must respect TPS and CTPS.
